Fjord Review on the Library’s Dance Theater Workshop exhibition
Aug 4, 2025 — The dance journal Fjord Review explores the Library for the Performing Arts’ exhibition on the innovative dance space, Dance Theater Workshop. In the 1960s, choreographer Jeff Duncan's living room was turned into a space for artists to rehearse, try new things, and show their work to the public, starting in the 60s. That living room space turned into a sustainable arts practice, Dance Theater Workshop, that exposed many of the dancers and choreographers that are well-known names today.

Digitizing the Library’s archive of wax cylinder recordings
Apr 5, 2020 — I worked with NPR’s Jay Vanasco to capture the Library’s acquisition of a new piece of technology that allowed NYPL staff to digitize wax cylinders. This story precipitated another important acquisition of Lionel Mapleson wax cylinders and diaries, from his great-grandson, who heard the story on the radio.
